Trailbound Activities: Simple First Steps, Easy Rewards
In Trailbound, the cozy game on Discord, players can earn rewards through the main core loop of chatting, participating in raffles, and donating to the server's community tree. Let’s find out how!

In part 1, we explored what Trailbound is and the world that shapes it. Just like visiting a new place for the first time, once you’ve taken in the sights, the next step is discovering what you can do there, whether you’re exploring on your own or sharing the journey with friends.
In this second part, we’ll take you to the heart of Trailbound: the activities that bring the Canvas to life and turn everyday moments into shared adventures.

Chat-to-Adventure
Chatting with fellow Trailmates is one of the main activities in Trailbound, where the experience is shaped by its community. Before evolving into Chat-to-Adventure, this system was known as Chat-to-Earn.
With the upgrade, progress is now structured around Tracks and Milestones. You can find the tracker in the bottom-left corner of your screen. Each Track contains 3 milestones, and every 3 minutes of active chatting fills your progress bar and grants a milestone reward. After completing all the milestones, you can receive a Pack.
Baseline Behavior
The system automatically detects channels commonly used for conversation, such as #general or #trailbound-chat.
During the setup wizard, server owners can select multiple eligible channels to support Chat-to-Adventure across different community areas.
Owner controls include:
Adding or removing channels from eligibility.
Managing future anti-spam settings; intended to prevent message flooding while keeping the system fair and accessible.
These controls help communities maintain healthy engagement without encouraging spam or clutter.
To familiarize yourself with it, let’s take a look at how Chat-to-Adventure works.
Step 1: Start Chatting
Every message you send contributes toward moving along a short track, allowing you to earn items at different points along the way.
Step 2: Earn Packs Passively
Chatting unlocks Packs over time. These Packs contain Materials, Furniture, or Templates. Complete a track to earn a pack. You can complete only a limited number of tracks per day. After reaching the daily limit, your progress pauses, resuming only on the next day.
Step 3: Trigger Flourish Raffles
Your activity may trigger a raffle result, awarding bonus Materials or items.
Step 4: Turn Materials Into Gold (Indirectly)
Materials you earn from Packs or Raffles can be salvaged into Gold when needed.
Chatting is all fun and games because not only do you get to know other Trailmates, you also get rewards from doing it. Other than Chat-to-Adventure, there’s another feature that allows you to get Packs, and you practically don’t need to do anything except participate.

Collect Gilded Packs from The Flourish Bloom (Raffle)
Raffle (often playfully called Waffle by Trailmates) is a recurring community event that gives every player a chance to receive the contents of a Premium Pack at regular intervals. It creates a shared moment of anticipation without demanding constant attention or quick reactions.
Designed for group participation, Raffle encourages Trailmates to stay active in their server while offering Collectors and Wanderers a steady way to engage with higher-rarity rewards. The system creates or uses a #trailbound-raffle channel for all raffle-related messages. If the channel is missing, Trailbound can auto-create it during the setup wizard.
Here is a short explanation of how it works.
Step 1: Participate in Raffles
Every hour, communities with the Tatsu bot trigger a Flourish event that distributes the contents of a Gilded Pack. To join in, click ‘Participate’ before the event expires.
Step 2: Raffle Rolls
Flourish rewards include Materials and the occasional special item.
Step 3: Collect Rewards
Rewards are delivered directly to your inventory.
Key Tips for New Players
You can participate without spending Gold; chatting can trigger entries.
Use raffle Materials for crafting or salvage them for Gold.
Reward pools may change during seasonal events.
Things to Know
Even one entry gives you a chance to claim something valuable. You only get to claim once per interval however.
Raffle rewards help early progression.
Active servers naturally produce more rolls, as people chat.
If you’re setting up raffles in your own server, use the following steps:
Run tb!setup to run Trailbound on your server via Tatsu bot. You may run this command in any channel.
Set up the Flourish via /trailbound settings.
What To Do Next
Use raffle drops to craft your first pieces or salvage duplicates for Gold.
Trailbound isn’t just about receiving and connecting with fellow Trailmates, it’s also about sharing something meaningful along the way. Here, you can exchange gifts with other Trailmates, much like a Christmas tradition beneath the Reverie Tree.

Get and Donate Items at the Reverie Tree
The Reverie Tree is a place where Trailmates can exchange gifts. Here, you’ll often find small surprises left behind by fellow adventurers. You can also leave a gift of your own, sharing a little joy from what you have. In Trailbound, receiving a gift is called Claim, while giving one is known as Donate.
Here is a short explanation of how it works.
Step 1: Start
Use /trailbound tree to check the stash of items in the tree daily.
Step 2: Donate Items
Use /trailbound donate to add your extra items to the community stash for others to discover.
Step 3: Claim Rewards
You can claim one item from the Tree twice per day. Additional claims are locked until the next daily reset.
Step 4: Track Milestones
Some seasons or events include milestone bonuses tied to the Tree.
Key Tips for New Players
Claim every day; the Tree is one of the best sources of free items.
Tree rewards pair well with the Packs earned from chatting.
Seasonal updates may boost Tree rewards.
Things to Know
The Tree resets daily.
Rewards vary based on the items donated to the Tree.
The Tree is a good source of early crafting materials.
What To Do Next
Open any Packs you received, then check Crafting to see what you can make.
Donate your extra items to the Tree for others to receive.
Beyond those three, there are many more activities waiting in Trailbound, including decorating your Roamstead, crafting and salvaging items for furniture, browsing the shops, and fishing either solo or with fellow Trailmates. We’ll explore these in more detail in a future part.
