Trailbound Activities: Complete Quests and Earn Rewards in Trailbound
In Trailbound, a cozy game in Discord, you can earn rewards by finishing various quests. Let’s take a closer look at it!
Hi, Trailmates! Welcome to Trailbound!
From the previous part, you already know that in Trailbound you can decorate your Roamstead, join raffles, donate to the tree, receive items, and chat to earn rewards. But that is not the full story. There is another activity that adds more to the experience, and that is Quests, giving a bit more structure to the otherwise relaxing game flow.
As the name suggests, Quests give Trailmates missions to complete in exchange for rewards. These rewards can come in many forms, such as Packs, Gold, or Materials. The details may vary for each player, and Quests are divided into four categories: Daily, Weekly, Request, and Special Event.
Anyway, to learn more about Quests, let’s get started!
Based on Trailbound v0.10.4. Some features may change in the future.
Quests in Trailbound are sets of tasks with clear objectives that will reward Trailmates generously when completed. They’re connected to other Trailbound activities like crafting, collecting, and community interaction while still maintaining the cozy gameplay experience that feels easy to follow and rewarding over time.
ACCESSING QUESTS
Open the Trailbound Activity menu.
Navigate to the Quests section to view your active tasks, rewards, and progress.
QUEST BASICS
Step 1: Tap the Quest panel
Open the Quests panel to see a list of active Tasks across multiple categories.
Step 2: Check the quest list
Each Quest lists a specific requirement (e.g., craft an item, turn in materials). Complete them in any order.
Daily Quest: Refreshes every day and keeps things moving. Expect things like daily logins, collecting certain items, or paying a visit to a region in Bygonia.
Weekly Quest: Refreshes every week with a fresh set of tasks. Usually includes turn-in quests, crafting quests, and more.
Request (Permanent Quest): These ones stick around with no time limit, which is good because they tend to need a bit more effort. Think discovery quests, triggering Flourish, fishing challenges, and similar. More time-consuming, but the rewards reflect that.
Special Event Quest: Only available during specific events on the Canvas. These come and go, so it’s worth jumping in while they’re around. The Lunar New Year Quest that gifted the Fortune Kitern, for example, was only open for about 21 days.
Step 3: Choose one to complete
Choose a quest to complete and carry out the activity (e.g., craft a piece, salvage items). Progress updates automatically.
Step 4: Claim your rewards
Hit the Claim or Turn In button when finished. Rewards (which can include Packs, Materials, Gold [via salvageable items], or unique/exclusive items) are immediately added to your pool. Turn-In Quests require you to Submit Items from your inventory before claiming the final rewards. Once you tap Turn In, those items will be removed from your inventory.
Quest Categories
Quests are organized into themes to guide progression across core systems:
Key Tips for New Players
Start with Basic System Quests; they are the fastest to complete for early rewards.
Many Quests overlap with natural daily play; you’ll probably accomplish them without too much additional effort.
Turn-In Quests are ideal for utilizing surplus materials or duplicate furniture.
Think of Requests as “evergreen goals,” not tasks to rush, as they don’t have a time limit.
Most Requests align with activities you’ll do naturally (crafting, salvaging, placing items).
Completing Requests gradually builds your resource flow and collection strength.
Things to Know
Quests refresh on a schedule determined by the system.
Some categories require engaging specific features (e.g., Crafting, Pets).
Rewards vary based on the Quest tier or current event cycle.
All progress and completions are automatic, supporting a chill game experience.
Rewards vary by quest and can include rarer finds like Vibrant Packs or exclusive materials such as Lilac, Moonflower, and Palm Leaf. Some of these aren’t available anywhere else for now, so it’s worth keeping an eye on what each quest is offering.
What To Do Next
Work through a full set of Basic System Quests to accumulate resources necessary for Crafting or Collection-themed Quests.

In Weekly Quests, you will often come across missions that ask you to catch certain fish in exchange for Gold or materials. These fish can be obtained through the Fishing feature, which was introduced during the Season of Rime.
At the moment, Trailbound offers more than 27 types of fish, each with its own point value and category, adding a bit more variety to this cozy game without making it feel overwhelming.
We will take a closer look at Fishing in the next part so stay tuned!
Until then, keep chatting, keep collecting, and keep wandering.
